About MKA Combat Sports & Martial Arts

MKA has been offering instruction and training in Martial Arts since 2002.

Headed and owned by Sensei Ed Verso and Heather Verso with a staff of expert instructors, MKA offers a number of programs for all ages.

We instruct men, women and children, 6 years of age and up, at all levels. At our dojo you will learn all the details of the physical and mental attitudes necessary to be very effective in your self-protection. Students train at their own pace & skill level. Students learn how to handle victories and defeats not just in our dojo but also in everyday life. Personal growth is a major factor in our school. During class, we practice the philosophy of the Dojo Kun by continuously trying to improve our techniques, making an honest effort, striving to overcome our physical limitations, and showing respect for each other.

We worked together through after school and summer enrichment programs. Sensei Ed provided a safe, fun and nurturing environment through his patience and dedication. Manners, building self-confidence and developing ones self-control are some of the great rewards students acquired.
